Limicelia · About
Limicelia is co-stewarded, not managed. Our collaborators are practitioners who share practice, mutual accountability, and the patient work of organizational transformation. Trust is built inside the network before any client engagement happens.
01 / BK
Co-Steward · Systems & Governance Coach · Technology Strategist
BK is a philosopher and social commentator focused on the paradigm-shift happening in how we work. As a skilled convenor and systems leader, he illuminates what lies beyond business as usual — a more relational and integral approach in which self-study provides a means for greater purpose and meaning.
He brings over fifteen years spanning private sector, cooperatives, nonprofits, and community organizing — moving between worlds most consultants occupy only one of. He is a certified IC-Agile Coach and trained Sociocracy Consultant, grounded in consent-based governance and distributed decision-making. His systems thinking draws from cybernetics, Nora Bateson’s warm data methodology, and the living systems tradition. He brings contemplative practice, Buddhist epistemology, and a monastic approach to work — not as philosophy, but as a way of paying attention that changes what becomes visible.
Outside of Limicelia, BK is building the Present of Work — a translocal ecosystem exploring how modern work, workers, and workplaces can become more humane and alive. He lives in Richmond, Virginia.

02 / Carol Xu
Co-Steward · Organizational Transformation Designer
CX has worn a few hats: academic researcher, startup co-founder, podcast host, and discovery partner for leaders and organizations on their paths of transformation. Her purpose has always remained the same: to help unleash human potential through a deeper understanding of people, work, and community.
She holds a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford — and has spent her career translating that rigorous training into something warmer, more embodied, and more alive. Her practice is rooted in a conviction that organizational transformation is not just a cognitive event. It is somatic. It is relational. It is imaginative.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She believes the best conversations happen in motion.

03 / Together
BK reads organizations through governance, systems architecture, and the structural conditions that produce behavior. CX reads them through relational fields, somatic intelligence, and the experiential conditions that produce change.
Together, they hold both the structural and the human — which is where transformation actually lives.
